Who is CLEARED for?

What is the Red/Yellow/Green Zone Model?
A framework for sorting AI use in practice by risk exposure. Green Zone: AI use that does not touch clinical content or protected health information. Yellow Zone: AI use that touches client-facing content without generating clinical recommendations. What is the Human Authority Filter?

Do I need to disclose AI use to my clients?

Is CLEARED HIPAA training?
No. HIPAA training covers protected health information at the technical and operational level. CLEARED covers practitioner-level AI governance. How you decide whether an AI tool belongs in a workflow, how you document its use, and how you maintain the human authority filter. The two are complementary, not interchangeable.
Will my AI vendor's compliance posture cover me?
Vendor compliance covers the vendor. Practitioner responsibility for what the AI produces and how it reaches the client stays with the practitioner. A Business Associate Agreement with your transcription tool does not substitute for a documented governance practice on your side.
What if I do not currently use AI in my practice, does any of this apply?
If you do not use AI at all, the disclosure requirements do not apply to you. Audit requirements that flow from federal funding still do. And the practitioners around you are using AI, which shapes the standard your clients increasingly expect.
